Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and Smith App Studio for using Matrix ROI at matrixroi.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use Matrix ROI for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

Beta

Matrix ROI is in beta. It is offered free during the beta, features may change or be removed, and there may be errors or downtime. We will give you notice before any paid plan applies to you, and you will never be charged without agreeing to it first.

Your account

• Give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Workspace owners and administrators decide who on their team can see and change what.
• Tell us right away at smithappsupport@gmail.com if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

Your data

Your data stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide Matrix ROI to you, as described in our privacy policy. You confirm that you have the right to connect each account and upload each file you bring into Matrix ROI, including for any clients you manage.

Connected services

When you connect services such as Google Ads, Meta, Shopify or Stripe, your use of them is still governed by their own terms. Matrix ROI reads reporting data from them and never makes changes in them. We are not responsible for those services, their availability, or the accuracy of the numbers they report.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• break the law or anyone else's rights using Matrix ROI;
• try to reach data that is not yours, test or bypass our security without written permission, or disrupt the service;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service, or use automated tools to scrape it;
• upload malware, or sensitive personal information about your customers such as health or payment card details.

Numbers and advice

Matrix ROI helps you understand your marketing results, but its figures depend on the data your connected services provide, and its insights and forecasts are estimates. Check important decisions before acting on them. Matrix ROI does not give financial, legal or tax advice.

Our service

Matrix ROI, its software, design and brand belong to Smith App Studio. We grant you permission to use it under these terms while your account is active. If you send us suggestions, we may use them freely.

Ending your account

You can stop using Matrix ROI and delete your workspace at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other customers at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and give you time to export your data.

Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, Matrix ROI is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Smith App Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, and our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100.

Changes to these terms

If we make an important change, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Matrix ROI after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE — to be confirmed by Smith App Studio], United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
