These notes explain the limits of what Matrix ROI and this website can tell you. They sit alongside our terms of service and privacy policy.

Not professional advice

Matrix ROI, its reports, its AI assistant and the articles in our resources section give general information about marketing performance. They are not legal, tax, accounting, privacy-compliance or financial advice. For decisions in those areas, speak to a qualified professional who knows your situation.

No guaranteed results

Matrix ROI helps you see which marketing is working. It does not promise any increase in sales, savings or return on ad spend. Results depend on your business, your market and the decisions you make.

Accuracy depends on the data you connect

• Figures are calculated from the data you connect or upload. If a source is incomplete, late or wrong, the results will be too.
• Numbers labelled as a platform's claim are reported by that platform. We show them as reported and do not vouch for them.
• "Verified" means matched to your own records, such as payments or store orders. It is only as complete as those records.

AI answers

The AI assistant checks every number in its answers against your data before you see it, and lists its sources. The wording and suggestions can still be wrong or incomplete. Review them before acting, especially before changing budgets.

World data

• Currency conversions use European Central Bank reference rates. They are for reporting only, not for transactions, and may differ from the rate your bank or payment provider used.
• Economic figures come from World Bank Open Data under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. They are yearly figures and can lag by a year or more.
• Public holiday dates are national holidays. Regional holidays and observed dates can differ. Check local calendars before planning around them.

Articles and statistics

Our articles link each statistic to its original source and were checked on the date shown on the article. Sources can change or be updated after that date. The figures belong to their publishers. Linking to a source does not mean that publisher endorses Matrix ROI.

Demo data

The live demo and the screenshots on this site use fictional businesses. Every name and number in them is made up to show how the product works. None of it describes a real company or a real result.

Trademarks

Google, Google Ads, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, Microsoft, LinkedIn, TikTok, Shopify, WooCommerce, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Stripe, Amazon, Apple and other product names are trademarks of their owners. They are mentioned only to describe compatibility or for commentary. Matrix ROI is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them. Connections marked "in development" are not available yet.

We link to other websites for reference. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. We do not earn commissions from links on this site.

Beta service

Matrix ROI is in beta. Features can change, and there may be errors or interruptions. Keep your own copies of anything important. You can export your data at any time.
